An accomplished finance professional with more than 25 years of experience in the financial services and leasing industry in Sri Lanka. I am currently serving as Chief Manager / Senior Regional Manager at Senkadagala Finance PLC, where he leads one of the company’s largest operational regions, overseeing the performance and management of 12 branches. Throughout my career, I developed extensive expertise in branch and regional management, credit and lending portfolio management, risk control, business development, and leadership development. My leadership approach focuses on building high-performing teams, maintaining strong credit quality, achieving the best collection ratio among regions in the company since the establishment of the region, and driving sustainable business growth while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Prior to my current role, I served as Head of Branch at LB Finance PLC, where he successfully managed branch operations and expanded business portfolios. Earlier I worked at Lanka Orix Leasing PLC (LOLC), progressing from Marketing Assistant to Junior Executive, gaining valuable experience in financial marketing, portfolio development, and customer relationship management. At the Institute of Finance and Insurance Professionals (IFIP), I serve as the Course Director – Leasing & Finance, contributing his extensive industry knowledge to develop future finance and leasing professionals. My focus is on equipping participants with practical industry insights, credit management expertise, and operational knowledge essential for success in the modern financial services sector. I hold an MBA from the University of Colombo, a Diploma in Human Resource Management, and several professional certifications including Risk Management, Digital Marketing, Credit Monitoring & NPL Management (IBSL – currently reading), and CIFE (CMI-UK pathway).
